We are looking for a passionate Chef / Cook to join our vibrant team in our new Subiaco store.
We are a vibrant and unique QSR Brand that is quite different to the generic brands and have a strong focus on quality, handmade food, sourced from local suppliers prepared fresh instore daily. We are passionate about our products and the amazing food that we create, and we hope you are too. Our Unique brand has proven recipes that work and are rewarding to produce and serve to our valued customers. We ensure we are working in a fun environment with cleanliness, quality, and consistency as a big part of our DNA. Our people are a big part of our success so we are actively looking for driven, engaged kitchen staff that are wanting more in a job and wanting to embrace our systems. Lead a positive team to serve the best burgers and hand crafted sides available .Excellent communication skills are a must!
Tasks & responsibilities
Communicate effectively with Front of House staff and the Restaurant Manager
Ability to work well under pressure and keep calm and calculated during peak service periods
Ensuring compliance with food handling, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
Follow recommended guidelines to ensure recipes are being followed
Understand and adapt ordering to maintain sustainable food expenses
Have a well-presented kitchen brigade in an open and vibrant kitchen
Be a hands-on cook that is willing to lead by example
Work with state-of-the-art docket systems and order processes (BUMPit and Kounta)
Willing to follow instructions and have an ability to use constructive feedback to run a tight ship
Take pride in making and serving quality food and drinks
Reliability and flexibility to work around a rotating roster including nights and weekend
Strong and professional communication and leadership skills on all levels
