Mercure Perth is seeking a charismatic Front Office professional to be part of our tight knit, energetic team on a full time basis.

Mercure Perth is conveniently located in the heart of Perth city, with the major shopping, entertainment and nightlife areas all close by. The hotel features 239 well appointed rooms, along with a great restaurant, a cafe, bar, heated rooftop swimming pool, spa, sauna and gym. Business guests are well catered for at Mercure Perth with 6 modern meeting rooms available, accommodating up to 350 delegates.

The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in a Front Office position in a hotel environment.  A strong focus on the guest experience, customer service, solution orientated, good use of initiative, excellent communication skills & a high level of personal grooming and presentation are a must!  You will be self motivated, highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and demonstrate excellent computer and administrative skills.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

Check in and checkout of hotel guests
Maintaining guest accounts
Taking reservations
Assisting with all guest enquiries
Directing internal and external phone calls
Rates of Pay

$28.08 per hour Monday – Friday

$33.69 per hour Saturdays

$39.31 per hour Sundays

$56.15 per hour Public Holidays

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have:

– Flexibility to work a 7-day roster.

– Attention to detail.

– Good time management and multi-tasking skills.

– Experience is preferred, but not essential – we will provide supportive training.

This position is casual and is ideally suited to someone who has full availability during the week and on the weekend.
