Bib and Tucker is looking for a new Pastry chef to help take our Sweet side into new territory.

We are looking for a chef that has positive energy a passion for great produce and seasonal  plated dessert  and wants to elevate their career.

Bib and tucker is an iconic Perth Restaurant, that has been producing original and innovate food, for the past 9 years.

We pride ourselves on great food, warm service and unmatched view capturing Perth’s coastline.

The locality of our venue means we celebrate WA produce our suppliers, farmers, and passionate producers, with a real care from where our food comes from.

Our menu is driven by seasonality, what we can pick and grow ourselves and creative control by our kitchen team. Alongside a dedicated management team we are looking for a chef to help guide our team to successfully achieve this.

The successful chef will have passion for our industry, be dedicated at heart with great communication skills.

The Pastry Menu changes every 3 months and with the help of the executive chef ,we are looking for a chef that can help execute modern plated dessert.

The section makes, all the ice-creams, sorbets and all elements for the pastry section are made in house.

We have a Pacojet, thermomix and Rational oven for use by the section, A great opportunity to be creative and make your mark on our menu.

You will receive support from proven and professional hospitality operations team to provide the  team with everything they need to succeed.

What you bring

At least 1-2 years’ experience in a busy or a high-end venue as Pastry Chef
Be open to learning cost/ stock control and rostering
Understanding of modern flavours, plating and technique
Understanding of forecasting Prep, Alla carte and functions
