An exciting and rare opportunity has opened to work at the Australian Hotels Association (WA) (AHA) for the position of Corporate & Events Administration Assistant.

The Australian Hotels Association is WA’s peak hotel, hospitality and tourism association. The AHA hosts a number of major industry events throughout the year including our iconic Accommodation and Hospitality Awards for Excellence, WA’s largest annual Hospitality Expo, Supplier Awards and Gala Dinner and Golf Classic.

The AHA(WA) strives to ensure that the hospitality industry has access to the highest quality services and resources available. Through the formation of strategic alliances with over 130 industry suppliers, the AHA is able to provide our members with an informed choice of suppliers across all product and service categories.

This position will provide a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience at the centre of the hotel and hospitality industry.

This is a full-time role and will provide support to our dynamic team based in West Perth office.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a desire to learn, can multitask and enjoy a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have good computer skills and be well organised and have similar experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

    • Provide administrative support for sponsorship proposals, renewals, correspondence & admin duties for events.
    • Maintain detailed file records on database, spread sheets and hard file for the Corporate and Events Manager.
    • Administer the advertising schedule and sponsorship outcomes for corporate members.
    • Events delivery & execution as required.
