We currently have the opportunity for a customer service orientated professional to join our friendly Front Office team in the role of a casual Guest Service Agent.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager you will be responsible for:
Providing a personalised service and experience for our guests to enjoy around the hotel
Recognising and welcoming regular guests
Maintaining accurate guest accounts
Answering guests queries in a timely and efficient manner
Addressing guest requests and handling guest complaints in a positive manner
Liaise with inter departments to assist guest and advise of room moves/ bookings
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
Previous Front Office experience preferably in a hotel or resort environment
Professional telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
A warm friendly personality and positive can-do attitude who enjoys working in a team
Excellent grooming and presentation standards
Intermediate computer skills – Word, Excel, PMS and Outlook
Previous experience with booking systems desirable but not essential
Current open drivers license desirable but not essential
MUST have the flexibility to work shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends
