The Mangrove Hotel is looking for a Sous Chef that shares a strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, kitchen equipment and is dedicated to creating new and innovative dishes for our guests. The  Johnny Sausage Sous Chef role will provide scope to work in partnership with the Executive Chef to develop a menu reflecting seasonal specials and promotional events. The Mangrove Hotel has a strong reputation for delivering an excellent, creative and consistent food offering.

 

As the successful candidate you will have the ability to:

Demonstrate your proven experience as a Sous Chef.
Prepare and present quality dishes in line with brand standards and product imagery.
Take pride in consistently presenting quality offerings.
Showcase your experience with high quality functions, banqueting menu planning and operations.
Drive a positive culture through leadership and consistency in personal performance.
Strong organisational skills to manage a medium sized team.
Assist with the induction and training of new kitchen staff.
