This is your chance to be part of a fun-filled Ascot Racing Carnival. From October to April each year, Ascot Racecourse comes alive with some of our biggest raceday events, including Melbourne Cup, The Pinnacles series, The Quokka and Perth Cup attracting crowds of 20,000+

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced hospitality & events superstars to work across our Main Cellar department, bars, functions & events areas for the 2023-24 Ascot Racing Carnival.
For the superstars in our team, we have shifts available for raceday and non-raceday events all year round, above and beyond our Ascot Racing Carnival.
About Us
We are WA’s only metropolitan race club and manage two venues – Ascot and Belmont Park Racecourses. For 160 years, we have been one of Perth’s major tourist attractions, offering thoroughbred racing, entertainment and venue hire for special events.
Racing is an all-year sport – we host race meets every week in every season! In addition to our racing carnivals, we also host corporate functions, conferences, festivals, weddings, trade shows and much more.
For the superstars in our team, we have shifts available for raceday and non-raceday events all year round, above and beyond our Ascot Racing Carnival.

About the role:
We are looking for team players with hospitality & events experience who work well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will have a passion for outstanding customer service and embody our core values of Integrity and Transparency, Leadership and Empowerment, Innovation and Excellence, Safety and Sustainability, and Engagement and Understanding.
Duties
· General cellar maintenance and cleaning
· Stock- control and rotation of products
· Experience in changing kegs
· Chemical and Manual handling
· Stock deliveries to outlets & event areas
· Stocking large number of fridges and cool rooms of beverage stock
· Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar outlets and working area.
To be successful in these roles you will need to have:
- Relevant experience in reputable venues
- High standard of personal presentation
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work Saturday day shifts
- Safe Food Handler Training
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (SITHFAB002)
- For team leaders – a demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Approved Managers desirable but not essential
