About the role

 

Reporting directly to the Car Park Supervisor, the Car Park Attendant role will be required to actively display exceptional customer service along with the ability to work in a team environment. Excellent presentation, consistency and punctuality will ensure you succeed in this role.

 

We are looking for passionate Car Park staff with a can-do attitude to work as part of a team who love to deliver world class service and experiences to guests and be a part of the RAC Arena event buzz.

 

About You

 

    • Friendly, energetic and hard-working attitude and the ability to prioritise tasks

 

    • Experience working in a fast-paced bar or high-volume events environment

 

    • 18+ years old

 

    • General knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety for WA including Occupational Safety and health Act 1984 and Occupational safety and Regulations 1996

 

    • Software: Microsoft Office – Word for Windows, Excel, TTM Equipment, Automatic Pay Stations, general office equipment

 

    • Well-developed organisational skills and ability to lead by guiding various parties to mutually desirable outcomes

 

    • Sound administrative and organisational skills

 

Essential

 

    • COVID Hospitality & To​urism COVID-19 Hygiene Training

 

    • National Police Clearance

 

    • Proof of identity that meets the 100-point check

 

About the venue

 

RAC Arena is WA’s home of live entertainment, music and sports. Since opening, our 15,000-seat venue has hosted many famous superstars, including Prince, The Killers, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, KISS, Celine Dion and Katy Perry.

 

RAC Arena has also given our sporting favourites an opportunity to thrive and excel. The venue has previously hosted the Hopman Cup with record attendance and stellar players, such as Roger Federer, and Serena and Venus Williams. The Perth Wildcats have scaled new heights on and off the court by regularly playing in front of more than 12,000 people, transforming the CBD into a sea of red during their home games.

Working in the venue and event industry means supporting the delivery of events across our event calendar. This means that weekend, evening and public holiday work will be required. We have lodged this role on our own site as we are managing this project directly.
