We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Café/restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our café/restaurant.
As a Café/restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our café/restaurant. Your role will involve managing the staff, maintaining excellent customer service, monitoring inventory, and ensuring the overall success of the café/restaurant. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for coffee, and a commitment to creating a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise and train cafe staff, including baristas and servers, to deliver exceptional customer service.
· Ensure the quality and consistency of coffee, beverages, and food items.
· Maintain inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships.
· Create staff schedules and manage labor costs effectively.
· Monitor and analyze sales performance, implement strategies to increase revenue, and achieve financial targets.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
Qualifications:
· Must have RSA and Approved Manager
· Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a café or restaurant setting.
· Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and a genuine passion for coffee.
· Exceptional customer service abilities with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and work within budget constraints.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
· Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays.
