This position provides an opportunity to experience the unique lifestyle of the Coral Bay tourist settlement, 150km south of Exmouth in the world heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef region.
We are looking for a hands-on couple, both working full-time, who bring a mix of housekeeping, reception, grounds management, and maintenance skills. Must have the ability to work as part of a team, be safety conscious, reliable, flexible, and provide excellent customer service.
Coral Bay is renowned for its pristine north-facing beach with Ningaloo Reef in sight, manta rays, whale sharks, outstanding diving and fishing, and a superb winter climate. Peoples Park Coral Bay is a very busy caravan park, providing a mix of beach-view caravan sites, quality onsite accommodation units, and camping sites.
The first applicant will have experience in front office reception with excellent customer service skills and computer knowledge. The second applicant will have experience in grounds and maintenance including handyman work, gardening, and basic plumbing.
Applicant 1 – Front office:
- Skills and attributes;
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Reception duties including experience in the reservation system (NewBook is used), assisting guests with tourist information
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone manner
- Show initiative with a can-do attitude and high attention to detail
- Take bookings over the phone and via email
- Maximizing revenue opportunities
- Collecting and calling customers for overdue payments
- Social media and review management
- Housekeeping and laundry tasks when required
- Ensure the quality of service to all guests upon arrival and departure
- Be available to be on call for after-hours check-ins and emergencies on a roster basis
- Flexible attitude to work hours
- Calm under pressure
- A team player who assists in managing reception and housekeeping staff
Applicant 2 – Grounds:
Skills and attributes;
- Be fit and active and able to work outside in all weather conditions, particularly heat, and wind
- Must have people skills and a friendly manner with guests in the caravan park
- Shows initiative and can problem-solve and develop solutions
- Assisting guests with directing them to their sites, queries, and tourist information
- Experience with repairs and maintenance including but not limited to ablutions, villas and cabins, general maintenance around the park, and plumbing knowledge would be an advantage
- Landscaping and gardening including sprinkler runs, mowing, and tree lopping
- Assist with infrastructure improvements/construction projects
- On-call for after-hour emergencies, including ensuring quiet time after 10pm, and occasionally dealing with unruly guests and evictions
- Flexible attitude to work hours
- Be a team player and assist in managing a small team of staff
These are full-time, permanent positions. Accommodation is provided as these are live-in (on-site) positions. Assistant Managers will need to be available to work weekends, long weekends, and public holidays on a rotating roster.
Remuneration includes free accommodation including utilities within the park. Must have own van.

Caravan Park ‘All Rounder’ Couple

We are looking for a hands-on, hard-working couple to join our team and contribute to high standards in Park presentation, cleanliness, and customer service.

Experience is preferred, however not essential. We looking for a commitment to stay in the position for at least a full seasonal rotation of 12 months.
Duties include (and are not limited to):
- Cleaning of accommodation, ablutions, common areas, BBQs
- Washing, drying, and folding linen
- Assisting guests
- Watering, fertilizing, and minor garden maintenance
- Reception duties
- Rubbish collection and tip runs
- Following safe operating procedures and work directions
