The Role – Systems Administrator

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, servers, and networks
  • Monitoring system performance and ensuring high availability and reliability
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Performing system upgrades, patches, and backups
  • Ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance with relevant policies
  • Supporting and maintaining cloud and on-premises infrastructure
  • Documenting system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
  • Providing technical support and guidance to staff
  • Assisting with IT projects and system improvements
  • Supporting the Information Technology Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Information Technology department in the hotel.
  • Supporting IT Ecosystem built on Windows Servers, Windows Desktop Clients, Point of Sales Terminals, Wired and Wireless Infrastructure for Data, Voice and IPTV.
  • Actively involved in PCI-DSS Compliance
  • Hardware and Software Asset Management
  • Install, configure, manage, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair computer networks, work stations, support server system(s), supporting hardware/software.
  • Provide end-user support for all applications.
  • Ensuring optimal service delivery for internal and external customers
  • Troubleshoot/repair/resolve technical problems/issues related to computer hardware/software/internet.
  • Train and advise users in proper use of systems and comply with security guidelines.

  • Understanding and working knowledge of Hotel Systems – PMS, POS, IPTV, VOIP, CAS, Accounting.
  • Infrastructure, Systems and Applications security understanding and knowledge
  • Manage IT risks to ensure all IT equipment, systems, network access and backup systems are protected from internal and external risks.
  • Provides operational and maintenance acceptance for new and changed systems and services.
  • Manage Information Technology infrastructure to ensure optimal operating effectiveness, continuity of service and integrity of systems.
