Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Restaurant Duty Manager to join the management team at State Buildings in the heart of Perth’s CBD at Petition.

Duties

This is a bustling vibrant high volume venue therefore our ideal applicant will bring something exceptional to our team. You will be an industry expert and responsible for;

  • Oversee the operational efficiency of the restaurant during the shift.
  • Assist in the implementation of the department’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Supervise team members to ensure they provide a superior service and create memorable experiences for guests responding to requests, enquiries and complaints.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the team maintains a professional manner at all times and are up to date with VIP guest movements, hotel events, local attractions and activities.
  • Liaise with the Kitchen Team on a daily basis to ensure the food program is being delivered as per expectation.
  • Work closely with all other departments to maximise experience and profitability within the food and beverage offering.
  • Maintain close working relationships with Department Heads to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Support and assist the team to ensure they are fully conversant with all food and beverage procedures.
  • Storing and serving of food and beverage
  • Monitoring & reporting on revenue & cash flow
  • Understanding of food and beverage flavour profiles, ingredients and servicing process
  • Strong understanding of time management
  • Ensuring a safe and secure environment for patrons & team members
  • Recruiting, inducting and training a professional team while driving a positive culture
  • Providing an individualised & memorable a customer experience

Salary is $76,515 PA, FT 38 hours per week.
