SOAK Hospitality

Jade and Art Skotniczny grew up in Australia’s apple isle, Tasmania – world famous for its pure fresh foods, pristine growing conditions and artisan food industry. Combined, they have over 40 years’ experience ranging from bars and clubs, restaurants, cafes, to International Hotels and Resorts, covering Tasmania, South Australia, Northern Territory, North Queensland and now the Pilbara. Jade and Art’s passion for the food industry has had them chasing a life long dream of opening their own venue. and now residing in Dampier, the Pilbara presented a calling they could not pass.

Established in early 2018, Soak Hospitality PTY LTD was the first step in achieving their dreams.

Soak Mobile Café was just that, a mobile coffee van that served a lot more than just coffee. Waking very early every morning to prepare a scrumptious selection of hot food, fresh rolls, desserts and amazing coffee, the van hit the road bringing fresh food and coffee to you on the go. The van could be found at Dreamers Hill 7 days a week from 5am servicing the morning rush, then on the road visiting worksites around Karratha, Gap Ridge and the Burrup. After Breakfast the van was then loaded with Lunch and on the road again visiting worksite’s in the surrounding areas.

The Soak Van was also a hit at local markets and events.

Soak cafe in Dampier overlooking the beach and Hampton Harbour (the previous Road Runner/Barnacle Bob building) opened on the 5th of March 2019 and you will soon see why they fell in love with the beautiful location. The café boasts large, relaxing alfresco dining areas with some of the best views in the Pilbara. Proudly serving locally caught fresh fish and chips, Western Australian Beef, Coffee, milks and Gelato. Open from Tuesday to Sunday fully licenced and serving a variety of eat in and takeaway meals throughout the whole day. We look forward to seeing you up on the hill, opposite the magnificent Dampier Foreshore Development.
