Sous Chef – Beachside Hospitality Precinct (Opening July 2026)
We are looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join the kitchen of our new beachside hospitality precinct, opening July 2026. This is an exciting chance to work in a stunning coastal location while developing your culinary skills under an experienced Head Chef.
Situated directly on Tarcoola Beach, our venue will feature a vibrant seafood restaurant, relaxed outdoor dining, and a premium function space with panoramic ocean views. Our focus is on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and dishes that celebrate the best of Western Australia’s seafood.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about seafood, creative in the kitchen, and eager to grow in a supportive, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu execution
Prepare and cook seafood and other dishes to the highest quality standards
Supervise and guide kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and professionalism
Maintain food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
Assist with stock management, ordering, and kitchen organisation
Contribute to menu planning, seasonal specials, and creative dishes
Collaborate with the team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Cook, preferably with seafood experience
Strong passion for cooking and a love for coastal cuisine
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
Willingness to learn, grow, and take on leadership responsibilities
Positive attitude and dedication to hospitality
