Business guests are well catered for at Mercure Perth with 6 modern meeting rooms available, accommodating up to 350 delegates.

Job DescriptionThis is a challenging and multifaceted role which will see you managing a small team and applying a service focused approach to managing contractor and guest requirements. You will work with external contractors and suppliers for scheduled maintenance. In a nutshell, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the rooms, facilities and common areas of the property. This role will draw on your proactive approach and ability to multi-task and prioritise.

QualificationsIdeally you will have experience with property maintenance and preventative maintenance programs but will also have strong administrative and computer skills, You will be required to report and track programmed maintenance as well as ensuring regular stakeholder communications via email and telephone so exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills will be great assets to have.

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge and passion for creating a safe work environment for contractors and team members alike. A thorough knowledge of safe start procedures and an assertive approach to workplace health and safety is also essential. A trade qualification is a bonus!
