The purpose of the Stores Assistant role is to monitor and distribute the goods and deliveries in and out of the Broome depot. This varied role will also be responsible for the overall cleaning and maintenance of KOWA property including the office, depot, guides house and depot vehicles as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
· Select and divide all goods delivered to the depot for transportation to the lodges including food items and general stock
· Assist in loading the supply vehicles
· Collect lodge team members orders for dispatch to camps
· Coordinate all deliveries
· Purchase and set up food kits for tour guides
· Assisting guides in loading vehicles
· Clean and paint vehicle rims and fit truck tyres as when required
· Keep the depot property in a tidy state (e.g., cut lawns, weeding, rake leaves etc..)
· Ensure the wash bay is kept tidy and clean and check on cleaning equipment and supply as required.
· Weekly wash and clean-up of wash bay
· Assist in delivering and collecting vehicles from external suppliers
· Assist in vehicle recovery
· Cleaning of depot vehicles when required (after they return from bush)
· General cleaning and maintenance of the office and other KWA property
· Ad hoc duties as requested
Required Skills
· Valid HR driver’s license with F extension
· Valid fork lift license
· Ability to do heavy lifting
· Able to prioritise work loads
