The Marina Mindarie, is home to multiple venues including The Boat, Indian Ocean Brewing Company, Pavilion Function Center, Cabana & Lifeboat. We are seeking cooks & chefs to hit the ground running in what is a very exciting opportunity. We love what we do and want you to share the same enthusiasm!
Reporting to the Head Chef, responsible for all aspects of this busy kitchen, you will help create menus, stock control, ensure wastage is kept to an absolute minimum, maintain strict adherence to all health and safety requirements and oversee the smooth running of service, delivering quality meals in a timely and organized manner.
You will have a combination of skills that encompass attention to detail and be able to cook in all sections of the kitchen, as well as a creative mind. You will have a sense of urgency and work well in a team environment.
Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised when required.

Able to take direction and work alongside Sous Chefs and the Executive Chef.
Work as a team and have great communication with both BOH & FOH teams.
Skills & experience
Must have previous experience in a kitchen.
Preferably a qualified chef, or relevant experience, or willing to complete an apprenticeship with us.
Have experience working under pressure.
Live within a comfortable distance from The Marina and must have own transport.
$60,000 to $65,000 – Full Time – COOK
$65,000 to $70,000 – Full Time – CHEF
