With Hospitality Group Training (HGT) you could access financial support of up to $1,500 for pre employment job ready expenditure. For example, they can assist you with purchasing knives, uniforms and tools for working in the kitchen.
HGT works with a variety of hotels, restaurants, cafes, pubs, function centres and catering companies to offer different types of employment to suit different skills.
They can link you up with full time, part time or casual employment or you could start an apprenticeship as a Chef and receive a Trade Certificate.
If you have completed (or partially) recognised cookery training, you can be credited for units you have completed already; in many cases shortening your apprenticeship significantly.
HGT will provide mentoring support throughout your apprenticeship.
